From the very beginning of Nature’s Alchemy, I wanted to make a difference by providing products that create as little waste as possible.
Jane Goodalls words resonate deeply with our commitment to sustainability and the choices we make in packaging our products. We believe that every decision, no matter how small, can contribute to a positive impact on the world around us.
In this blog post, we explore the choices we’ve made when it comes to packaging, opting for aluminium, glass, and compostable tubes over other plastic free options. By prioritising sustainability, we aim to minimise waste and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.

Nettle, scientifically known as Urtica dioica, is a perennial flowering plant with incredible medicinal properties. This versatile herb has been utilised in traditional medicine for centuries. It is a cherished plant that holds a special place in my heart. Just like dandelion, it serves as a herbalist and forager’s best friend, offering an array of benefits and uses…

As April is Rosacea awareness month, I feel it’s important to shed light on and provide support for those who suffer from it.
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes redness, flushing, and visible blood vessels on the face, along with the appearance of small, red, pus-filled bumps. It can also cause a burning or stinging sensation, and in some cases, the skin can become thick and bumpy.
Rosacea is extremely common and affects millions of people worldwide. It is seen in all countries and races but is most frequently seen in people who have fair sun sensitive skin, especially those of Celtic origin.

Dandelion is one of my favourite plants for a plethora of reasons and they are a herbalist and foragers best friend.
It’s Latin name, Taraxacum Officinale literally means the remedy for disorders!
They are packed with vitamins and minerals and grow everywhere, loosening compact soil and allowing air and worms to move through and nourish it.
One of the first signs of spring their cheerful yellow flowers bring us visions of the sunshine to come.

I hope you had a lovely start to your week and that you managed to squeeze a little bit of me time in your day. This morning I started back on my yoga mat for the first time in months. My mind needed it, my body needed it and my family definitely needed it! I had fallen back into a cycle that often claims me and I’m sure loads of other victims! Super Busy lives zap all our time and mental energy, we don’t eat healthily, exercise or have any time for ourselves. This week I’m going to break this cycle. Another vicious cycle I want to talk to you today about had me in its grasp for such a long time…

From scaremongering about cancer and Alzheimer’s to the waste and sickly fumes of antiperspirant sprays (anyone else remember not being able to breathe in your classroom or changing room after P.E. class?), it’s very difficult to make a decision about what type is right for you?
This is just my take on why I use a natural deodorant hopefully it might make it easier for you to make this very personal decision…

At the start of this year, Lynn approached me to try out some of her products and to report back with honest reviews. Being a man and stuck in my ways, and not one for skincare, or beauty products i reluctantly agreed.
So my wife and I were asked to try out the new limited edition Valentine’s Gift Box from Nature’s Alchemy, i thought this i could do…
