Seasonal Skincare.
It’s that time of year again!
Read on to learn some tips on changing your skincare routine after the clocks go back 🥰
But why, I hear you ask?!
My skin looks great and i’m a groove with my routine.

Keeping your skin glowing isn’t a one-size-fits-all undertaking.
As the seasons change, so should your skincare routine. The key to year-round radiant skin lies in changing your routine to match the changing weather.
A combination of colder days, and nippy winds and then moving between this and indoor heating sucks the moisture from the skin and leaves it parched, dry, cracked and definitely not glowing.

So what can we do??
Change your skincare routine to ensure you’re using the right products at the right time.
Use a natural exfoliant.
Using an exfoliant will remove dead skin cells and even skin tone. Using a natural exfoliant will do this gently, leaving you with a brighter complexion and a much better base for applying further products.
Choose our Mint Chocolate Exfoliating Cleansing Balm

Add a hydrating face mist.
The main reason to add a face mist to your skincare routine is to add an instant boost of hydration.
However they can actually have many other additional benefits when used at different times.
If you already use a face mist in your skincare routine why not play to their strengths and add another to use during your day.
This is a very inexpensive way to help give your skin an extra boost of hydration in the coming cold weather.
Use our super refreshing Spearmint mist to help wake you up in the morning.
By adding our rose face mist prior to makeup you will make your skin a smoother canvas.
Going to an important work meeting chose our Lemonbalm mist will promote calm and ease stress.
Before bed choose our Lavender face mist to give you a boost of hydration as well as helping you to relax, sending you off into a peaceful sleep
Awaken your natural glow.
The secret to glowing skin is a strong skin barrier. A healthy skin barrier keeps external stressors like pollutants and uv rays out and locks moisture in.
When it is damaged it allows irritants to enter and cause inflammation as well as allowing your skin to become dehydrated and even oily.
Our Serum and soufflé are packed with antioxidants, humectants, occlusive and emollient ingredients.
Occlusives create a protective barrier on the skin’s surface to lock in moisture and prevent water loss, humectants help to retain moisture in the skin by attracting and holding water. Antioxidants protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals and support overall skin health. Emollients in skincare products help soften and smooth the skin by forming a protective barrier and providing moisture.
Which Skin type are you?
Don’t forget your lips!
Lipbalms are often an overlooked part of your winter skincare routine.
The skin on our lips is thinner and more sensitive than other parts of our bodies, so it’s more affected by the cold winter air. It’s best to coat your lips with a thin layer of balm every time you venture outside. This creates a protective layer, similar to wearing gloves.
If your lips do become chapped, dry or flaky, try to resist the urge to exfoliate them. This can deepen the cracks and fissures, and could lead to a painful infection. Use lip balm for winter instead to soften the dehydrated skin and soothe what’s left behind. Your lips will be back to their kissable best in no time.
